Working Principle
I. Basic Principle of Operation
The vibratory feeder generates an exciting force through a vibration motor or electromagnetic vibrator, causing the tray to vibrate directionally. Under the action of the periodic exciting force, the material performs continuous jumping movement in a certain direction, ensuring continuous and uniform transportation and feeding of the material.
II. Main Working Mechanism
1. Excitation System
- Two-motor drive Two vibration motors are installed symmetrically; synchronous rotation creates the exciting force.
- Electromagnetic drive The electromagnetic vibrator generates a periodic electromagnetic attractive force.
- Excitation frequency is usually 1500-3000 rpm.
2. Vibrational Movement of the Tray
- Under the action of the exciting force, the tray performs approximately linear reciprocating motion.
- The vibration direction forms a certain angle with the horizontal plane (usually 30°-45°).
- Small amplitude (usually 3-8 mm), high frequency.
- The vibration trajectory is an ellipse or a straight line inclined upwards.
3. Material Transport Mechanism
Throwing movement The material detaches from the tray surface under the action of the upward exciting force, performs a parabolic movement in the air, and when falling back onto the tray, it has already moved forward.
Sliding movement With a small exciting force, the material microslides on the tray; friction force pushes the material forward, alternating with the throwing movement.
Continuous advancement With each vibration of the tray, the material moves forward a small distance; high-frequency vibration ensures continuous and uniform transportation of the material forward. The transportation speed is controlled by adjusting amplitude and frequency.
III. Implementation of Dual Function
Feeding function Material continuously flows from the hopper into the tray; the feeding amount is regulated by vibration intensity, ensuring measured, uniform, and continuous feeding.
Pre-screening function The bottom of the tray may have holes or grids; fine fractions pass through the holes during vibration, while coarse fractions continue to be transported to the crusher, improving crushing efficiency and protecting the equipment.
