Detailed description of the operating principle
The wheel sand washer uses an advanced operating principle combining hydraulic washing with mechanical abrasion, ensuring effective cleaning of sand and gravel. The technological process includes the following stages:
Power transmission system
The electric motor transmits power through a V-belt drive to the gearbox, which reduces speed and increases torque via a gear transmission, driving the wheel (impeller) at an optimal rotation speed, providing stable power for the sand washing process.
Loading and washing process
The sand-gravel material to be processed is evenly fed through the loading chute into the washing tank. Under the continuous action of the rotating wheel, sand and gravel are intensively mixed in water, particles rub against each other, effectively removing clay, dust, and other contaminants adhering to the sand surface. Simultaneously, the abrasion action breaks the water film surrounding the sand grains, promoting dehydration of the material and increasing the dryness of the final product.
Washing with water flow and impurity removal
During washing, clean water is continuously supplied, creating a powerful circulation of water flow in the tank. The high-pressure water flow timely washes away clay, contaminants, and light foreign materials with low specific gravity (such as leaves, plastic particles, and other light debris). These wastes are discharged along with the water flow through the overflow outlet from the washing tank, ensuring high-quality cleaning.
Discharge of finished sand
Thoroughly washed clean sand and gravel are gradually lifted by the wheel blades, moved along with the wheel rotation to the discharge point, and naturally fall into the discharge chute under gravity, completing the full cycle of washing and sand extraction. The entire technological process is continuous and highly efficient, providing automated washing of sand-gravel materials.
